A NEW GAME FOR THE NES

Ploid s a new platform adventure game for the NES, play solo and explore the lost temples in order to gain power and become the ultimate Ploid X of the galaxy! Fight to get the best score and overcome challenging sections.

RETRO version

The game is flasshed in Mapper 30 NES circuit board (72pin), Works in all original NES consoles and should work on most clone consoles, Does NOT work on ‘software emulation machines’ like the retron5. It has 512KByte PRG-ROM (32 banks of 16KByte program ROM), 32KByte CHR-RAM (4 banks of 8KByte character/graphics RAM).

DIGITAL version

Alternatively, we offer a ROM version. This allows you to play the game on your PC and many other platforms through the use of an emulator. Alongside the ROM download, we will provide easy-to-understand instructions on how to set up an emulator and play Ploid on a Windows PC or Mobile.

Ploid is the sequel to our video game V.O.I.D. published on Nintendo Switch and Steam, it is also the prequel to our current video game under development for Nintendo Switch called Ploid X.

A couple of years after the events of V.O.I.D. the Ploids have formed the patrol that protects time and space to avoid repeating the history of V.O.I.D. With Dr. Elo, also Alpha and Omega Ploids enter a new link in evolution due to time travel turning them into PLOID X, a skill that allows them to have temporary improvements to their systems in order to fight. In order to become Ploid X, Omega must travel to several ruins in search of the sacred disks that contain the necessary information to be able to take the final step and evolve.

MAIN CHARACTERS

OMEGA: Our protagonist in Ploid, in charge of exploring the ruins and obtaining the sacred records. He has a determined attitude, is tenacious and would do anything for his beloved Alpha. In Ploid he has left the laser gun and has focused his energy on the sword of light to defend himself.

ALPHA: The inseparable couple of Omega, very cheerful and intelligent. She will be responsible for collecting and analyzing the information managed by Omega through the sacred disks.
